Development of electronic services for the library consortium of St.Petersburg

The technical solutions for the library consortium services are discussed. What
standards to choose as the basic principal for a consortium construction?
Practically the services are implemented within the RUSLAN library automation
system. The model of the consortium shows the role of each members and the ways
of interaction. Future improvement of the services quality could be realized via
reorganization of data structure of the databases.
